We can provide you with the latest technology in financial planning. This is a Visual Financial Plan where we work together to build your future. To learn more, without obligation, click the button below.
Our Six Step Financial Planning Process
The First Step
If you prefer, you can click the "Start Your Visual Financial Plan" button in the left column and complete your information electronically. You will be given a choice to send us an email at the end. So, if you do not like the electronic process of the Visual Financial Plan, then all you have to do is choose not to send us an email. However, we think that you will see the value of the Visual Financial Plan and choose to work with us.
As part of the first step, we offer a free consultation where we discuss what's important to you and how we may be able to help you. if you have submitted your information to us via the Visual Financial Plan, then we will call you for your free consultation. If you prefer to do things by paper, then we can do that too. We would need you to complete our fillable Confidential Data Gathering Form and call us for an appointment. Please note that no private information such as account numbers or Social Security numbers are needed at this time. For more details about our form, you may click the button below. You may fill this out in advance if you wish and bring to our first meeting, or we can do it together at the first meeting. Either way is fine.
The Second Step
Follow Up Appointment at No Charge
We meet for a second time to discuss in more detail your overall financial situation and incorporate your financial planning goals. This gives us the details that we need to begin work on the Visual Financial Plan. Think of this second step as your preliminary Visual Financial Plan. We simply want to make sure we have all your goals in place and when (the precise dates) that you want to achieve them. The information that you have given us to this point is incorporated into the Visual Financial Plan and we are just double checking its accuracy with you.
The Third Step
Review Visual Financial Planning Life Line
At this meeting, we show you the Visual Financial Planning Life Line. At this point, we are able to place your important financial goals on the Life Line and match them to your assets. In other words, if retirement is a goal, then we assign the retirement accounts (IRA's/Roth's/401(k)'s) that you have to this retirement goal. If another goal is college education funding, then we may assign another account, such as a 529 plan to this goal. We repeat this process for all of your accounts by matching them to your specific goals. In addition, we include ongoing contributions and show you how this affects your life line. Of course, we can also show you the effect that a disability or death would have on your Visual Financial Planning life line for yourself, spouse or partner. The point to keep in mind is that your financial plan is visual. It is all on a Life Line and you can see it. Green means you goal is covered and red simple means that we have more joint work to do in order to achieve that particular goal. It is as simple as that which is a whole lot better than 63 pages of junk that you will never read nor understand.
The Fourth Step
If you are agreeable to working with us, then we setup a meeting to begin the process of completing the required paperwork to become one of our clients. You can choose to have only a Visual Financial Plan completed or allow us to supervise your investments also where we may offset the Visual Financial Planning fee completely. Our Visual Financial Planning fee is $1,000 unless reduced or waived and it can be paid in installments if needed. We also offer our Visual Financial Plan to companies with 100 or more employees on a deeply discounted basis. Depending on employer commitment to improving the lives of their employees, we may waive the 100 employee minimum. See our Form ADV 2A disclosure below for more details.
